Woolworths’ Product and Value Chain IT GM to Leave

Woolworths is set to lose its IT general manager, who was instrumental to the Australian supermarket company’s supply chain transformation – better known as Mercury 2.

Outgoing IT GM Cameron Webb announced his departure in a brief LinkedIn post, saying it is “time for a new chapter” after two stints at Woolworths lasting a combined 29 years.

Schneider Electric’s Lexington Smart Factory Earns Fourth Industrial Revolution Advanced Lighthouse Designation by World Economic Forum

European multinational company Schneider Electric has announced that its Smart Factory in Lexington, Kentucky has bagged the distinction of 4th Industrial Revolution Advanced Lighthouse by the World Economic Forum (WEF). 

The Lexington Plant is part of Schneider Electric’s global initiative to digitally transform its factories and distribution centers, which are core to the company’s Tailored Sustainable Connected Supply Chain 4.0 program. The Lexington site is the third Schneider Electric factory to receive this recognition.
