Adastra Joins Scale AI Supercluster Community; Actively Seeks AI Industry Use Cases to Transform Canadian Supply Chains

By Business Wire

TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Adastra Corporation, a global leader in Data Management, AI and Analytics, is proud to announce that it is now a part of the Scale AI community. Scale AI is a Government of Canada-supported supercluster aimed at leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to boost the economic development of the country through the adoption and integration of AI into supply chains.

Scale AI receives funding from the Governments of Canada and Quebec, matched by contributions from the private sector, and has already invested $111 million in 20 confirmed projects through its member community. The AI supercluster brings together private entities across industries, academic researchers, and high-potential startups to build a knowledge-sharing network and identify cross-sector collaborative projects for funding and support.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Scale AI program and will be actively identifying cross-sector collaborative opportunities to bolster the adoption of AI in innovative business use cases. There is tremendous potential for leveraging AI to optimize supply chains across industries, and this initiative is a great stepping-stone towards solidifying Canada’s position as a leader in intelligent supply chains,” said Robert Turner, EVP Marketing & Sales, Adastra Corporation.

Adastra has been a leading player in Canada’s Data Management and Analytics space for 20 years and, as part of the Scale AI program, will continue to help our clients innovate their supply chains. Adastra’s experience in building and deploying innovative AI solutions across industries will be key in identifying use cases that could have a transformational impact on businesses of all sizes. Adastra is actively seeking innovative project ideas and industry use cases that have the potential to leverage AI to transform the supply chain ecosystem.

Adastra can help secure funding from Scale AI. The identified projects will be evaluated by Scale AI for business viability and overall ecosystem impact. The supply chain industry contributes to over 10% of Canada’s GDP, and as a member of this supercluster, Adastra aims to bolster innovation and accelerate the integration of AI into these businesses to create a world-class supply chain network with enhanced employment opportunities.

“The vision of accelerating innovation and fostering connections between cross-sector players to create a competitive advantage and uncover new opportunities is one that resonates with Adastra. We look forward to working closely with private organizations, researchers, and other partners to pool our collective expertise, and build solutions that will drive the transformation of supply chains,”said John Yawney, Chief Analytics Officer, Adastra Corporation.

The Scale AI consortium has over 120 members, ranging from industry leaders to research groups and not-for-profit organizations. Together, they aim to boost productivity across industries by integrating AI with supply chains and building a knowledge-sharing framework to advance technological research and pave the way for adoption of advanced technologies by Canadian businesses.
